Faking it

I had a play with some of the techniques we learnt on Saturday in the photoshop course. This picture of our local stream was taken at 5pm this afternoon with quite harsh sunshine but I have tried to give it a bit of mist so it looks like an early morning shot.

It's only my first attempt but I think it has potential and will certainly do as my homework submission to the course tutor. Actually finding a use for blend modes really helps me understand what's going on.
