Vineyards

We've been staying with lovely friends in Malviès, hosted by P and G, enjoying their incredibly generous hospitality. P insisted we take a short walk to one of her favourite spots before we left.

Today was a travelling (and rest) day, taking the train from Carcassonne to Cannes and then to Theoule via Marseilles. Despite the late running of the first train they seemed to hold the next so we made our connection. The second train had no air-conditioning, which made for a hot and sticky journey. It's very hot here in the south of France, although it's only in the low thirties now as opposed to the high thirties when we first arrived in France. I guess it's good for the grapes?
