Familiar places

Left home at 8.30 this morning - dull and drizzly, or trying to be! MrsM took me to the station for the 8.56 train to Glasgow. Why don't they make it 9am and be done with it!

A busy train - full of a French tour by the sound of it, and the London train from Glasgow was pretty full too!

Rain through the Borders, then dull as far as Crewe when the sun came out. We were more than 30 minutes late arriving in Euston so I missed the planned train to Hampton and had to wait for the next, but my sister picked me up and we were back at her house by 7.30pm. A long day!

My Blip today is the view down the Thames to Kingston Bridge, a very familiar sight for me!
