Friday: Brentford Lock

Lest you think we’re in Venice, we’re really not…….

Since we moved to west London many years ago Brentford has come on in leaps and bounds.  I mean, it even has a Premier League football team.  So today we decided to see how much it has changed by catching a bus and taking a walk along the canal.  

We stopped off at the ‘Black Dog’ and bumped into A&D from our local neighbourhood so spent some time with them (as well as caught an Uber home with them).

On another note, I’ve decided to give Duolingo a go.  Quite why I’ve opted to learn Scottish Gaelic is beyond me.  Maybe because it’s so different from anything less I’ve tried.  It’s definitely enjoyable.
