Kallin harbour, Grimsay

So, it’s been ten years since I posted on Blip. Ten whole years. 2015 was the the year my mum died, and life was very busy (and sad), with two boys (11 and 13) and a new full-time job with lots of travel and growing responsibilities. And I just stopped.
But maybe now’s the time to start again.
The boys have left home, Neil retired last year, and I’m planning to stop work early next year and I’m very happily planning for all sorts of adventures, and just a more balanced life with room to be creative. I’ve taken photos all this time, and mainly shared on Instagram. But Instagram’s become very annnoying and I enjoyed Blip, back in the day. So let’s see how it goes.
I may even do some back-blipping.

I’m in a tent right now, on North Uist and it’s blowing a gale and our ferry’s been cancelled - now that’s what life’s all about! Not Teams meetings and timesheets and budgets and annual reports….
