Alanis

I didn’t get a ticket to Glastonbury so am watching it on the television, as friends dip in and out of their watching and we chat along with the performances.

My highlight so far has been Alanis Morisette. Her album Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie was a huge influence for me a long time ago. All the “big” early hit songs were on the predecessor, Jagged Little Pill, but this album brought a sense of calm and experimentation, which is always way more my thing!

Getting to see her perform so many of the songs that meant a lot a long time ago has been wonderful - and the quality of her voice hasn’t changed at all, in all these years!
