Time

It’s my birthday. I know. Marvellous really. Time. Does time move or stand still whilst the earth moves? Chicken and egg.

I muse to myself, what have I learnt? I’ve always known there’s no one simple wonder hit out the park, but maybe time has helped me appreciate that more. I do know the importance of being calm. My job is very stressful. I run the business too. Very stressful. Yet, facing into the stress is where the true test comes.

I met someone not so long ago who has quickly become a friend, who has known real job stress that most of us will never know. This will never leave him. Ever. Imagine that.

So I wonder; is life actually about what I still carry in my ruck sack?

Building blocks matter. I know that. Also, give your building blocks time. Don’t over judge, over think, over push. Let go and let time do the potters job.

So, is older and wiser even a thing? I bumped into an old pal last week who I’d just seen about 30 years ago. A cool cookie. Still very cool. What matters most? The missed time or the times we had? That, right there, is the answer.
