A new place to explore

We have found a new place nearby to explore. It is one of the reserves run by "Boston Woods Trust" which also includes the two woods 'up the road' near us & Westgate Woods which we have often visited.

This newish addition is Dion Woods ..... early days yet as it has only been open for a couple of years. Lots of trees have been planted but as yet are quite small. 

There is a lovely wildflower meadow & a large pond. 

We had a lovely wander round & will be returning.

Blipped ~ Small Skipper ~ Black-tailed Skimmer ~ Swan with cygnets ~ Little Grebe with chicks.
