Mr B took himself to his treatment session today which left me free to go to a riverside wildlife haven I have found about 10 minutes away.

I also bought some cushions for our bench on an expat Facebook group for just €10! Bargain!!

Matt the gardener is coming back later today to take most of our laurel bush to the tip. He will cut it down completely soon as it was to close to our summerhouse making it damp inside.

We are gradually emptying the freezer as it badly needs defrosting I found a single salmon piece so I am doing salmon with black bean sauce for my dinner tonight.
