Police, Camera, Action*

Today Little miss bossy and I had to head into the city centre to run a few errands**. We stumbled across this little lot. According to the press 15 members of the NPD (the national democratic party of germany, or as wiki succintly outs it: the most significant neo-nazi party to emerge after 1945) were trying to spread their word, at least 250 people gathered to demonstrate against the NPD, eggs were thrown, whistles were blown, many police were involved...

Appols for the poor quality, but as we kept hearing the word "ausländer"*** from the NPD speakers we didn't want to get too close to the 'action'!


* this was probably one of the first real life TV shows documenting police work. The teen thought we made the title up because it was a bit simple I guess. Whilst on holiday he over indulged slightly on the current crappy satellite TV real life stuff, where people are being stopped at customs accused of swallowing or stuffing drugs or transit vans are involved in high speed motorway chases. I think it was quite eye opening for him.
