Family Visit

Today was the family visit meaning we (in groups of 2 or 3) spent the day with a host family. I was with Tessa and I can't remember the name of the parents but their son was called Mike (English name) and he was 20 and was at Shanghai art college studying industrial design. He was also very much into photography with his swanky 6D. Was useful that there was something we could both relate to!

His parents first drove us to the silk museum and then onto the farm of the tea plantations (I can't remember which tea it is though!) where we had a traditional Chinese lunch. Following this we headed to a rural-ish village with more tea plantations but stopped off several times along the way for photo opps. Really lovely family, I had a fantastic day.
