Iraj and family
Up early this morning to go to communion and then went into town to buy a coffee where I met Eila by chance who was in Waterstones with a whole basket of books which she was going to skim through to see if any of them would help her with her next translation and editing project! The shop kindly agreed to let her sit in the cafe!
I then went home for a quick turnaround to go up and see Richard in Cotehele ward. I bought a couple of pasteis de Nata and some strawberries to take in for him! He looked much better today than he has for a while but his only question was what have you brought me! He demolished the pastry and some of the strawberries and then said it was time for me to go home! Which I duly did!
I then had another quick turnaround to go out to dinner with Iraj and his family. He is our Iranian caretaker at church so it was an Iranian feast! The main course was chicken cooked in walnut paste with rice and homemade yogurt with cucumber and green spices! It was all delicious!
