Lyndisfarne
Another day of changing weather with a little rain. It’s our last day in Northumberland and we decided to revisit Lyndisfarne and Spittal Beach. We made an early start because of the tide times. It was good to spend more time exploring the castle and its surroundings. More shots were taken of the boats. I quickly visited the inside of the castle and then the walled garden where this photo was taken.
We arrived at Spittle beach with time to explore the colourful rocks again. I didn’t find the same ones either. After lunch we drove into Berwick and took a few images of the Royal Border Bridge railway viaduct. Then we visited the Lighthouse where it was very windy. It’s the lighthouse we could see from Spittal.
An enjoyable day.
