New Toy...

D's new golf trolley and bag arrived today.  

He's been talking about getting a motorised trolley for a while and finally made the decision when we were away last week.  It's inaugural trip around a golf course will be tomorrow :-)

I spent the afternoon at the kitchen table pouring over cook books in an effort to find new inspiration for dinners.  That paid off and I now have a whole load of new ideas thanks to the Hairy Dieter's Eat for Life books.  That's the good news.

The bad news is by early evening I was having a massive arthritic flare up of my left hip, the kind of which I've not experienced for a few years.  Absolute agony.  The only way I could take the edge of the pain a little was to lie on my right side in bed with a large pillow between my knees.  So that's what I did.  Not a great end to the day.
