More library flowers

I went to the library yesterday to collect a reserved book. But today I got an email about another reserved book that I had been waiting a long time for, so I went to collect it.

The pink and red mix in these petunias is so bright. Only flowers can get away with such crazy colour combinations!

It’s interesting to see how Starmer is having to make concessions on his so-called ‘welfare’ reforms. Most MPs are well paid and will probably never need the ‘welfare’ they are trying to reduce, so most don’t really care about the cuts. I’m glad that there are MPs who DO care and are are ‘revolting’. Starmer is beginning to look like a strict old grandad, and I don’t think he’s behaving like a Labour leader. I had high hopes when Labour won the last election, but now I can’t see much difference between Labour and the Tories.
