Diabetes appointment first thing this morning, Ben's new key worker met us there to get to know the team and that worked really well.  It's definitely starting to feel more real that other people will be caring for him.  Then I took him to school, popped to Sainsburys and the butchers before heading home.  I made some salad, walked the dog (captured -not literally- a butterfly) and managed to do some cleaning before I had to fetch Ben.  He's had a pretty good day it seems.  Back home I made lunches for tomorrow and snacks and then the social worker came for a welfare visit.  Ben played his glockenspiel for her and they chatted about how he's feeling about everything.  After that I've just been cooking and tidying but now Ben wants to play monopoly, so I think my fate is sealed!
