Gift & bargain
Went out this morning with friend L who lives around the corner, we needed a catch up!
We went to the Pavilion at Birtle, very nice indeed. It’s part of an over 55s complex, restaurant, bistro, verandah & upstairs balcony, bowling green with lots of seating areas around it & the food was fab!
L treated me as a late birthday gift :-)
4 hours later she dropped me off & it was a quick change & out into the back garden, first job mow the lawn…. again! As it’s showery I decided to water in some iron sulphate to strengthen the turf. I’m going to wait for signs of results before I do the two front lawns.
Today’s blip is of my absolute bargain plant, a beautiful trailing fuchsia, from Asda no less @ £8!!
My black “One Love Manchester” personalised plaque was a Mother’s day gift from youngest & his wife. If you zoom in you can just make out the areas of Manchester that I have lived in :-)
I think it looks good against my pale grey shed :-)
I’m now sat out on the sunshine admiring my handywork ;-))
