Aloes and Clouds

The day started off sunny and warm with no wind. Sister M came to visit and we went for a birthday coffee and cake morning at our Sacramento restaurant. The Aloes were looking lovely there and the clouds warning of the predicted cold front were gathering. Sister M is a sprightly 83, still swims and body surfs in the sea every morning throughout the year when the weather allows.
I then had workers here fixing broken vertical blinds, and the borehole pump. Never ending maintenance! 
This afternoon the weather changed and the cold front hit us. Gale force wind and heavy rain at intervals. Not the best day for the people viewing our properties but they didn't mind the weather and loved what they saw. Let's hope they are the buyers we are looking for!
And the good news is that, so far, there is no roof leak from the deck upstairs, so let's hope it's fixed.
I think we deserve a glass of wine tonight! Cheers.
