Great day

Posting a day late. My first class went really well. I have a class of 16 students, none of whom have taken a plant ID class before, which actually makes it easier to teach since they’re all at the same level, so to speak.

My son arrived with my granddaughter as I was arriving home from teaching. We went clothes shopping for her starting at Old Navy, followed by Marshall’s. We found enough clothes for the summer. Funny, she complains about the same thing I do - the clothes that are in stores now are just not clothes we want to wear.

Then to the grocery store for the rest of the food for camping and for dinner, then home. My granddaughter really wanted to go swimming in the pool, so we headed over after dinner. She told me all of her ideas for creating community at our HOA - it really was quite amazing listening to her. At age 11 she is a pretty remarkable diplomat! We spent an hour at the pool and then I crashed and slept for nine hours, almost unheard of!
