Greek Helmet

I went to a re-enactment today not knowing what to expect.

This particular event spanned six ages of history, covering Greek Hoplites, Viking, Tudor, Civil War, American Civil War, Napoleonic, Boer War and 2nd World War eras. It was hosted by the M5 Society and held at Spetchley Park Gardens, Worcester.

Very enthusiastic groups of people, re-actors and societies brought the whole thing to life (very loudly in some cases with canons rifles, guns and commentary) which helped made this an extremely enjoyable day.

If you have not been to one before, I highly recommend you give it a try. Well worth the day out. And the photo opportunities are endless.
