What a wonderful morning.  I joined a group of like minded people on s guided walk around the Eskrigg Nature Reserve just outside Lockerbie.

This site has been developed on an old 7 acre curling pond! It belongs to Castlemilk Estate but leased to the Trust.
It's an amazing place run and managed by volunteers,  including Jim Rea, ex head of biology at Lockerbie Academy. 
I have lived in this part of Scotland for 29 years, but this was the first time I visited- and I will be back!
