York's Bridge, Pelsall

This road has been closed for the last few weeks as the workmen constructed a new section of road which will eventually join up with the new bridge being built. The old bridge was a nightmare to cross, with a blind summit and not enough space for anything other than two small cars to pass.

I was there early, before 6 am and put the drone up to capture a different perspective.

I then went on to the local red deer area but only saw one throughout my walk. I collected the memory card from the trail cam I have set out but there was only one video triggered over the last few days. Perhaps the recent harvesting of hay from the adjacent field has caused the deer to relocate.

L was out with a friend to see the Tina Turner musical, while I stayed in. I seem to have acquired a cold, which is most frustrating as we are due to see Sting on Friday at one of the Forest Live events on the Chase.
