Lifting off
It is back to hot weather today, and the weekend looks very hot. I was hoping we would be working on chipping in our group golf lesson today, and thankfully we were. there were only three of us in the class so we each got lots of personal attention and help, and I found it very useful. After the lesson I went to the driving range to work on using my wood and hybrids, and then I played a virtual 9 holes of Torrey Pines golf course, which was fun.
Adam arrives on Saturday, he has a prize ceremony on Monday for his PhD thesis, and is here for a week. I am so looking forward to seeing him again. We have been very lucky seeing so much of him this year, since he moved to San Diego in January, but once Anna moves there at the end of July I don't think he will come over as often!
I spent some time trying to photograph bees in the lavender and geraniums, more practice is needed but it's a start!
I am about to go off to a wildlife photography talk by Paul Goldstein. His wildlife photography is excellent and he also raises so much money for wildlife charities. He is very outspoken so is well known for that. We met him in 2017 when we stayed at some of his camps in Kenya.
