Coverack. Cornwall.
A lot of Cornish walls have all kinds of flowers and greenery growing within them or on top of them. The lane where we are staying is no exception,
Honeysuckle scrambling everywhere, Valerian, Poppies and Foxgloves to mention a few!
Here in Coverack a wall has been planted with colourful mixtures of flowers. Some of which I believe are from the Aster family..
We sat with a coffee, ((for me) and an ice cream for Stephen, sharing a yummy piece of decorated carrot cake, from a vantage point overlooking the wide sweep of the bay.
A warm morning, but cloudy, the sea almost a flat calm.
It was quite a walk for me down the steep hill from the car park with my arm crutch, across the bay from our vantage point, then up the fairly steep incline of the road to the point where I took the photo.
This morning however we walked down the lane to the local coffee shop and craft centre, which includes a small enterprise which actually makes chocolates, and you can see the whole process. We had breakfast there. I walked there and back unaided.
Here is a link to the centre if you are interested:

I can’t believe it will be our last day tomorrow.
But it still feels like we’ve been here for ages!
I am aware of the news, but will refrain from comments right now.
