The Friday

At 2:31pm today Wellington experienced a pretty good sized earthquake that rumbled it's inhabitants and buildings for a good ten seconds or so. Most likely for safety reasons, and because it was Friday anyway, businesses closed and Wellingtonians hurried home to be with family. I ventured to Victoria University to see the Mrs and join the crowd of cars and people not going anywhere too fast due to the traffic jams of the masses leaving the city. What a crazy day.
