Sweet

Scent.

I have loved Sweet Peas as long as I can remember, right from early childhood when my Grandad and his friend Will grew them.   There have been few years since I had a garden when I have not grown some.   These are not the mix of colours that was pictured on the packet but they're still lovely, the plants as sheltered as I can make them, up against the greenhouse and sheltered by the water butt.   Very windy this evening but no harm taken so far.

Another busy day at Aber Cafe.  Everyone got fed in a timely manner - except the two of us working there!   Eventually we left the washing up and had a few minutes to sit an eat before the final train (of four) arrived.   There was much clearing up to do after that train but overall we coped really well, it just meant a later finish by the time we had put all to rights.   Better busy than bored, I enjoy it!
