Lily

The first of many to open. The container containing the bulbs has been in situ for some years, and presently there are about 10 stems each with 5/6 buds so there could be quite a show before long. Relatively untroubled by Lily Beetle this year, but I have despatched a few and sprayed the plants a couple of times.
Very mizzly today with no appreciable rain, so few opportunities for garden work;  getting the Golf serviced and defrosting the freezer seemed higher priorities.
