Salty Sea Dog

After a latish start this morning, we caught a bus to Old Town then walked through a nature path to Hugh Town, and managed to get on a boat to St Agnes. St Agnes was where we used to do a lot of diving so it was lovely to revisit our old haunts. While I was there I met the farmer that we used to deal with when booking our dive trips as we used to camp on his farm. He asked me how Clive was and was quite shaken when I told him how ill he is. He said how sad it was that someone so energetic could become as poorly as that so quickly.
Ziggy and I then walked back across St Agnes and caught the last boat back to St Mary's. I had booked an early dinner at a restaurant on the quay several months ago (as you need to do if you wish to eat out in the evening here) and it is the only meal that I'd organised in advance for this week. It was absolutely delicious (I chose salt and pepper squid followed by bouillabaisse) and because it was then too late for the last bus, I had booked a taxi to pick us up and take Ziggy and I back to our accommodation. He's tired out and already fast asleep at 8:15 pm.
Main is my old sea dog on the boat. The others are our old campsite on St Agnes, and The Turks Head (the most south western pub in the UK) and the bay at Old Town. There's also our closest beach taken last night at about 7pm. It was so beautiful. Just me and Ziggy, a couple of ducks and the sea birds. Blissful.
