Urgent Care

I learned a lot about how to repair a skin abrasion. Mr S fell and had to get evaluated, and, bonus, they fixed his bloody elbow with special tape and glue, apparently not products available at the corner store. Just as well—open wounds are not my forte. The aide advised him to “Be precautious.”After many hours in the ER and a barrage of tests, it was determined that Mr S is fine and can continue on in his inimitable style, although we both are in need of a good long nap. And I’d add a good stiff drink except we’ve reached the age where that conflicts with various meds.
