Birds, Bees, Blossom and …Sheep

Who would have thought that such scenes were taken in the town?

This was my neighbourhood this morning between 5 and 6 am when I took my morning walk in the glorious coolness of that time of the day.

The street just above mine, 3 minutes away on foot, is lined with Linden trees which were in full blossom and their perfume in the early morning was glorious. There were plenty of bees enjoying it too!

The two shaggy, brownish-black sheep were grazing in a small orchard at the back of the main Street.

The tree-lined street is also on the bus route and can take me two stops up to the metro, or down to the town centre on the other side of the road.

Lausanne, known as the green city … how lucky am I to live here!
