Living my dream

The last sunshine across the valley

This is a view from the truck deck, looking across Chez M&B, the village and over to farmer Ross's paddocks on the opposite hillside. One of my favourite views from the property.

In order to have an 'at home' day tomorrow I have squished several things into today: worked in K's garden all morning; then after a quick lunch I loaded Beanio into the car and we headed for town, to visit the library, a couple of shed-like retail outlets for garden essentials, and to deliver some eggs.

While so-doing we bumped into two lots of friends and the idea of a quick trip in and out went by the wayside. Long natters were inevitable and enjoyable.

Then when we arrived home, my soon to be ex-next-door-neighbour was waiting to let me know their timetable for moving out. They are very busy taking load after load of farm and garden stuff to their new home (12 kms away). The house here is now empty and they are sleeping at the new one.

The new owners get the keys in nine days' time. Nobody knows anything about them...

There are heaps of Blips I want to catch up with. I'm still looking at journals, and I hope to give myself time for some comments next :-)
