MIMOSA TREE

I have always loved this tree, AKA
Persian Silk Tree, & was happy to see this one blooming in a park near my friend’s house.

This is the perfect place for it, because these trees have a reputation for being messy: these beautiful flowers fall,
then long seed pods form & fall, then the
leaves come down in Autumn. That is
a lot of clean up. In a park, the grass mowers make quick work of the fallen debris.

PS: I just returned from my monthly book club, where we discussed a beach read that
