Green man

A few weeks ago a friend of mine was running a plant swap at his cafe. I had been growing stuff for him and MrRR was quite pleased that I managed to get rid of 32 pots which had been cluttering up the patio. The only problem was that I returned with 27 new ones.
I had only intended to stay for a coffee but somehow or other I became 'the organiser' as I was chatting to everyone and telling them all about the plants on offer. As this freed up my friend to serve in the cafe it seemed like a good patnership.
Anyway, during the morning a lady and her husband bought some plants and took some away. We chatted and then they left. About an hour later she returned and said she wanted to gift me this Green man that she had made as 'I had been so helpful and friendly and she thought I would appreciated it'. I was so touched.
Today it was hung on my arbour next to the pond where the dragonflies like to play. Very appropriate.
