The Dollhouse of Ill Repute

Elsie is the first to get a new outfit. I spent the majority of the day making her corset. Not an easy task, making a miniature corset. She is only 50cm tall! Then I made her a set of sleeves. Of course, she needed a petticoat for the upcoming skirt, the material will match her sleeves and corset. Then there are the pearls that will be added to the outfit. Slow going...but that is what my weekends are for, sewing for the dolls. The biggest challenge will be giving two of them new elastic. One of them has a gear system and I have never restrung her. A new learning experience, and I am sure the boys won't want to be around for that. They might learn some new words. In German. Maybe Russian. ;)
