A rare sighting
Since I came home, Daisy has been all over me. She has wriggled around on my knees, digging her claws in and disturbed my sleep by demanding strokes. (Goodness knows how she will be after the next holiday!)
Oscar has hardly been home. He came in during last night and started shouting at some ungodly hour. (Why are some hours ungodly I wonder?)
I caught a glimpse of him this morning when I opened the cat flap.
During the day I saw him sleeping under the philadelphus. I wonder if the perfume has soporific effects?
I did a quick Aldi shop for lots of fresh fruit and veg. Then I went to have coffee and a catch up with Liz. She and Nick have been away for over 6 weeks. I have recommendations of places to go in Italy now.
It was very windy, so I did not go for a walk. Instead I knitted, finished the matinee jacket and then went to see Margret in Corbridge.
We had a lot to catch up on. She had a nasty fall last week and has a huge bruise to prove it. She already has a new walker which is great news.
Tonight, Julie and I did a catch up on Messenger video and I'm ready for a bit of TV before an early night.
