Monday: Cherries

It’s very rare for our cherry tree to have fruit which ripens - the blackbirds are usually sitting on the branches eating fruit as soon as they can, I think the blackbirds have been busy raising their young and hunting for earthworms to feed their chicks for the last couple of months and the cherries have been ignored :-)

Change in the weather today, windy and cooler with temperature in mid teens - it stayed dry though and the washing was dry in a couple of hours.

MrD went out on his motorbike into the mountains on the mainland visiting his favourite cafe for lunch and coming home through Llanberis which he said was very busy.

I had a very lazy afternoon watching “High Country” on iPlayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0020rp6 - I’ve watched this series before and am enjoying all the Australian scenery which reminds me of our backpacking trips many years ago :-)
