Cocktail hour

Got up early to get a decent lake swim in and done. Didn’t meet any swimming buds but I knew a couple were there. Back in time to be out again for a church outreach which was very encouraging. Ridiculously hot though!! Obviously got a fair share of ‘no thank you’s’ but also a decent amount of interest too.

Back for a short time before WelshMan and Dot.T arrived with the makings of crushed summer berries cocktails with gin. Lovely to sit outside and sip. Elbows was playing cricket.

Got some precious time alone with the tv remote control which is exceedingly rare with Elbows coming in late after a social and the younger 2 boys back even later with Elbows offering taxi services. Our late late nights are getting more frequent.
