From My Everyday Life

Deadhead, or Fading Beauty

I was looking at the plants in my garden, and the weeds, sweeping like conquerors across my landscape, and contemplating all the "deadheads" that I need to snap off.

I noticed these and rethought. Even dead and dying, with the fading sun at the end fo the day, they still have a striking beauty. I blurred the image some and exaggerated the saturation and yellows to give the feeling of warmth I saw on the dead and dying flowers.
