On baking
This is a true hardship. I am ninety-one years old, and have never had to bake for myself, except during a couple decades when I knew how to operate the baking machine and was really having delicious bread every day. Today I am old, can barely move around indoors, would like to have some good cakes or pasties with my coffee, can't go to the store, and whatever I order from the store does not hold long, and such a good friend who would bring cakes to me every so often, does not exist.
Such is the situation. As I do not want to give in easily, I make attempts to do something on my own, but you should have seen what the machine made of the gluten free flour in 4 hours! Quite a few spoonfuls of crumbs on the bottom of the pan. The airfryer was my last hope, but I don't try that either for baking anymore. Pity.
Frozen buns and croissants are my thing. That's it. :-)
