Memorial Flight

For today's sweet pea blip I was aiming for an image in the style of a  Vermeer painting. It features our kitchen table and a vase of 'Memorial Flight'. I've grown this one for a few years now. It has large frilly flowers, long stems and quite good scent (for a Spencer sweet pea). My sweet pea records go back 25 years now (although I've been growing them for twice as long) and I think this has to be one of the most reliable white sweet peas I've tried.

Two kilos of gooseberries picked this morning - off just one bush. Ready to make some jam later.
