Worthing Pier to Here

We haven't done this swim for a while but it was an ideal replacement for the Brighton pier to pier swim which was postponed due to the winds. They were right to cancel, it was well windy and I wouldn't have liked to be in charge of all those people. We were fine in our little group though. We walked to the pier, got in and swam back, just under a kilometre. Aided by the current but hindered by the wind and waves in our faces. Hugely good fun and exhilarating though, I feel no need to do it again with 500 other people.

Then a quick change and on the bus for lunch at my mums. I made us margaritas and a champagne cocktail. Why did I stop making cocktails? We had a fine lunch and fun afternoon, sorry about the loud and nonsensical video call Penny!
