Newcastle Downunder

Berry's Bay from Waverton Park

It was a busy day today.  Mum had her ACAT assessment with a lovely lady.  It was a sit down and chat type assessment.  I just had time to give her lunch and then take my brother down to Royal North Shore hospital for his six week check up with his surgeon.  I took Pi and Maggy down to Berry's Bay for a walk and there is a lovely view over to the city from there.   Just as I was heading back to the hospital (an hour and a half later) he rang to say he was still waiting to see the surgeon and so I took them home and waiting until he texted to say he had finished.  Just enough time to give mum a cup of tea and piece of date slice.

We then took Pi and Maggy down to the oval where I was flattened by two golden retrievers who ran into the back of me (no I don't have eyes in the back of my head) and I did the full legs up landing on my back.  No real damage done but I am a bit sore around the back and shoulders.  I was a bit miffed because the owner was not very apologetic.  I would be devastated if Maggy did anything like that.

Anyhoo, back home, cooked a butter chicken with my home made Naan and then it was back up the M1 home.  It was a good trip home with not too much traffic.
