Llyn Padarn

We ascended Wyddfa (Snowdon) today - fourth time for me but first time on the train. Thick fog and rain meant that there was no view to enjoy at the summit. On leaving Llanberis we drove past this lovely lake where I used to take our family dog for a swim almost half a century ago. As we stopped, the sun briefly peeked by out of the clouds to provide the good light seen in the photo, a vista nicely captured by dad in one of his watercolours.
