Faerie Waterfall

Today was a day of extended relations and getting entangled of trees both real and familial. I can't decide if it's reassuring to know that your basic life details are essential conversation fodder for a seemingly endless web of family friends, relations both close and distant, and people you've never even met or heard of. Anyhow, this picture is of one of my fondest childhood memories, what I called the 'fairy waterfall' in Kirstenbosch, Cape Town. My fascination with it was so vivid that my memory of the waterfall actually has live, glittering fairies superimposed upon it.
