Blue hour at Widde Meuln Windmill

Another hot day today, which was spent in the same day as yesterday: by doing nothing at all. When I took Joey out way after sunset, I noticed the lights on the Widde Meuln windmill were still on and there was quite a bit of light in the sky as well. Perfect conditions for some blue hour photography and since this is in my own yard it didn't take long before I was standing behind my tripod, capturing this scene. This is an HDR merge of two shots: one exposed for the sky and the windmill, one exposed for the darker bits in the frame. They combined quite nicely into one merged image, I'd say...
