Sunday: Retro

I mentioned the other day that we had bought some books at Ham House.  Excellent books in themselves, but with the best covers which I just had to share.

Today passed pleasantly with little jobs here and there.  I was planning to bake some bread (my first attempt) but had to postpone that until a new seal gasket arrives for the oven door. This is to replace the one we set fire to a couple of nights ago (don’t ask…….)

I finished painting the table (see yesterday).  It looks great but K did ask whether I’d be offended if she touched up some of the areas I’d missed.  Needless to say it’s much improved for her involvement.
