Ottilie and Me

Penny sent me this over today. I was with them yesterday and we both particularly liked this "snap" I think is the right word, of the 2 of us. What a lovely, happy little girl she is. Always lovely albeit not always this happy! 

Today has been a long day as I was up early and drove to Suffolk Yacht Harbour to meet my friend with the boat to do, what we think and hope are the final preparations to be able to sail. It was far too windy to put the main sail up so we have "guessed" as to the reefing lines set up. for each of the 3 there is a 50% chance that we have got them right! we will need to check these - sea trials I suppose one might call it. There has been a lot of sorting out and such like this year it seems. Today I "called out" the fire extinguishers. one of these is so rusty I am not confident that it could ever work (albeit the arrow is still on green). It's "on the list". 10,678 steps which is not too shabby.
