Buzzy

Actually they were too busy to buzz much.
We were promised heavy rain early afternoon, all we got were a couple of short and light showers.
We had an unexpected visitor at church today, someone I worked with many years ago before she moved away. She is now back working fairly locally and it was lovely to see her again.
Back home, lunch eaten and a bit of cycling watched I went for a walk and found the comfrey a-buzz with a variety of bees. As usual the bees took off when the camera got near but I managed to get a few half-decent pics.
The swans were nowhere to be seen and the only birds on/over the ponds were a moorhen and a herring gull (I think). 2 lads were fishing, not allowed but they ignore the signs, which probably kept some birds away.
P.S. Some people think I'm a bit mad, but what about our daughter. Cycled Carlisle to Cramond overnight (100 miles) and kayaked 13miles down the Tay this morning - and has to teach tomorrow!
