Bowled over

This is all that is left of a deer shooting tower.

First came across it 20 years ago when new. It was situated in the middle nowhere and was quite imposing and a little disturbing, always reminded me of a Martian from War of the Worlds. 

It didn't last long, a storm blew it over and it got smashed and has been slowly degrading ever since. 

In another few years all that will be left is the metal frame and no one will recall what it was.
