Itchy!

I have noticed this foal standing in the field shelter each time I pass, on the way to Inver Beach. Today when I saw it in the field, I thought it had strange markings, which appear to be where it has rubbed the hair of either side of it's face. A year or so ago I spoke to the mare owner when walking past, he is very attentive to his mares (he keeps 3 in the fields) & they are always very well looked after.
